# A WALKING CLUB, WITH OR WITHOUT STEPN

STEPN Switzerland is a walking club that uses STEPN to explore the areas around our towns. It is open to everyone who lives in Switzerland and designed first and foremost for neurodivergent people. Walks are free and you do not need the STEPN app. To come along: join the Meetup group, then sign up for a walk.

## WHO WE ARE

A walking club that grew up around the STEPN app. We meet outdoors to walk together and explore the area around a town.

The club was founded and is run by [@PolyGST](https://x.com/PolyGST).

It is an independent community with no official connection to Find Satoshi Lab, the studio that created STEPN.

## WHO IT'S FOR

PLAYER 1

People who live in Switzerland, especially neurodivergent people: autistic people, people with ADHD, gifted people, and people with dyslexia, dyspraxia or another learning difference.

PLAYER 2

Expats living in French-speaking Switzerland who want to meet Swiss people.

We don't ask for a diagnosis. You don't have to explain anything to come along.

## WHAT WE DO

- ### STROLLS

Explore the area around a town, on foot and as a group.

We help you install the app and go on your first walk.

- ### THE LEAGUE

A team league across all three realms, proposed to FSL.

    [League](https://www.stepn.tech/en/league/)

## HOW A WALK WORKS

Walks will begin when the league starts. The league's start date has not been set yet. Each walk will be announced at least \[14 days\] in advance, with everything you need to know so there are no surprises on the day. Here is a sample fact sheet.

### ALLOWED, NO QUESTIONS ASKED

- Staying silent
- Greeting people without a kiss on the cheek or a handshake
- Wearing ear defenders or earphones
- Taking a break away from the group
- Leaving early
- Walking without the app

## WITH OR WITHOUT STEPN

To earn rewards, STEPN requires you to buy an NFT sneaker. It is a virtual shoe, sold in the app, and its price can go down. Nobody is pressured into buying one: you can walk with the club without the app. If you want to try, the Rules page explains everything step by step.
